Clearly I suck. I created this so long ago and haven't used it much. -_-

Anyway, a lot of things happened since I created the lj.

Firstly, I went of for my orientation camp at NUS. It was fun, made a couple of new friends and all that. The details are starting to get quite sketchy so I won't do a day by day breakdown. Just some memorable moments :)

1) Running around the Engine block during Night Race (or whatever it was called). That was an experience I will never want to go through again. Seriously. All the fucking stairs in the place. And seeing as how I haven't ran in years, yeah well. It wasn't very nice. Actually, NUS has a lot of stairs. Like all over the place. -_-

2) The Quest around the school. Fun stuff except my group cannot do logical, mentally challenging or physical games. We can only excel in games that is based purely on luck. Lol. I didn't think we all much cared actually. We were too laidback and too busy enjoying ourselves to actually hunger for a state to win.

3) Playing mass concentration (in english and malay) when other groups were trying their hardest to sink each other's ships during the naval warfare game. We were actually just about to play bansai which made me grin inwardly cos DBSK played it thus how I know how to play it. lol

4) God Save The Queen the next day. Basically Aishah was covered in layers of newspapers, rope and tape and then each group had 170 water bombs to throw at other groups' queens. Needless to say, thanks to Hakim's ruthless and merciless attack on the other groups meant our group was attacked the most. We came real close to winning but every other group voted for us to lose thanks to Hakim. -_-

5) Performance night at West Coast where the lights went off and we had to eat and perform in half-darkness. Oh and Sufina tried to teach us stargazing but I failed at locating the stars.

There are more memorable moments definitely but I can't really name everything so yeah.. anyway, I had high fever the day after camp and then went I went to the doctor, he quarantined me for H1N1 since I was in NUS and there have been cases there. It was only when I got home did I find out that Azyan, my roomate/grpmate is H1N1 positive. So then started all these frantic phonecalls, sms etc and I think everyone was panicking a bit. It's died down now but latest I heard is that 6 people are already infected.

As for me, it's the 4th(?) day of quarantine and I'm already fucking bored. Really. I'm so bored I resorted to cleaning my room. I'm halfway through now. Only my bookshelf is clean and tidy. The rest of my room is still hopeless.

Anyway, another quick update on my life since the last entry.. Proper posts soon I promise. Proper as in insightful thoughts (i hope) that I have or whatever epiphanies that may have hit me..

Finally this journal is up and running! I created it a few days back and I've finally finished adding userpics and profile codes etc..Anyway so yeah I know this journal is almost half a year late. Yes, I took that long to sort out my fandom journal and my fic journal. I was actually debating on using blogger again I decided I'm too used to LJ to move back. I'm still not going to delete my old blog though. It has 3 years worth of posts in it. 0.o

To start off, I think I need to give my reason for why I closed the old blog and didn't disclose where I moved until now. Truthfully, at that point of time, there was nowhere for me to move (therefore no real need to disclose anything) seeing as how I wanted to remove myself from the blogosphere totally. (in the sense of a personal blog and thus my fic comm in LJ doesn't quite count) However, six months later, I realised I quite miss blogging. Sure, there's still the issue of people I don't really know well reading my innermost thoughts and feelings (which is the real reason I wanted so much to stop blogging at all) but I miss it. and it helps me practice my already very rusty english And so here I am now. To tell you the truth, I weighed the decision to come back quite thoroughly before I decided it's okay since LJ allows me to friend-lock my entries should I wish. :)

So now that that is all over and done with, a quick update as to what exactly I've been up to recently. Okay, if you're expecting something spectacular, that's not  going to happen. My life is just basically revolving around work. Now that I've quit one of the two jobs I was working (the ice cream shop one for those who wants to know), I'm working full-time at the library that is to say from 1 to 9 pm everyday except sundays. This schedule will probably continue until the 6th of next month where I will switch to a 4 hour shift to give myself time to rest/study/slack/rebuild my social life before school starts. :) (Yes I am a terrible workaholic. -_- )

[EDIT]: One of my 2 weeks( not even really) died yesterday. Me and my sister named it Mochi and it's somewhere on the bed of some sungai in the west coast. (my day dropped it off on his way to godknowswhere). I'm sad. :(
